“I know that tomorrow is a day guaranteed to no one.”  Those words spoken by Steve Freeman best describe the reason he’s so serious about living a life of gratitude and integrity.  As a teenager, two experiences formed the man he would become.  He had a horrific car accident, which he was lucky to survive.  And a high school wrestling career taught him to excel when it was ‘him against the other guy’.  He learned to take every situation head on, and to never wait for someone else to do something for him. Since then, his life has been an extension of those lessons.


Steve Freeman grew up in Fayette County, Georgia. He drew inspiration from his mother and grandfather from an early age. His grandfather was a builder, and Steve learned the ropes early on as his punch-out guy.  Later, he became a third generation builder, himself. His mother was one of the top agents in the Metro Atlanta area, and taught him, among many things, not to ‘stretch the truth’, a value that he holds dear and practices each day. And another notable figure in his life was his wrestling coach, who never let him quit and practiced with him for 6 years to master his craft.  To this day, Steve still has coaches that mentor him, from fitness to business to real estate. 


At just 28 years old, Steve became a managing broker of RE/MAX Newnan and enjoyed hiring new agents and helping them grow into real estate rockstars.  He then went on to open the 5th Keller Williams franchise in the state of Georgia. To date, he has personally sold over 2,000 homes and received over 150 five star reviews (and growing).  His mission is be “your advocate throughout your real estate journey so you can rest assured that the right agent is standing by your side”.  This attitude, coupled with his determination to succeed, is how he earned the mantra Serious about SOLD.


And speaking of serious, Steve is now approaching a goal that he set 25 years ago.  He is one qualifying year away from his 25th straight year receiving the Circle of Achievement award, something he will accomplish before the age of 50.  With all this success in his wake, you might be surprised to learn the idealistic values that make his heart bigger than his achievements.  He boldly claims that the awards “don’t matter to clients...it’s what I can do for them that matters most”. He not only takes every client and every transaction seriously, he is also an avid supporter of ‘Sell a Home, Save a Child’, a charity focused on helping at-risk children around the world break free from the effects of extreme poverty.


When Steve isn’t paving the way to a serious and seamless transaction, he enjoys traveling, fishing, and working out. He also loves to spend time with his daughters, Caroline and Carlyn, whom he admits are the “why” behind his success. They have been with him every step of the way on this journey.  He has quite the extensive bucket list, including: travel to Europe, attend a NASCAR race and the Indy 500, attend a Masters event...and to catch a Tarpon with a fly rod. You can see why Steve lives every day as if there is no tomorrow. Make no mistake about it, Steve loves to laugh and have fun but Steve Freeman is not only Serious about SOLD, he is serious about life!
